Fun with Annunciation Enunciation

Me - "Hey, I need advice."

Sarah - "You need a vise?"

Me - "Um... no, I already have plenty of vices."

Sarah - "I'm confused."

And so on.

That goes right up with what my husband overheard at work the other day and sent around:

So, we ordered a Uninteruptable Power Supply to be delivered to one of our offices and Sandra needs Cary to be there to sign for it.

Sandra: I need you at AOC to accept the UPS delivery.
Cary: Sure. What are they delivering?
Sandra: The UPS.
Cary: Yes, I know. But what are they delivering?
Sandra: The UPS.
Cary: I don't understand! What are they delivering???
Sandra: UPS!!!
it was hysterical

I am consoled in the idea that I am not the only person who is deeply amused by puns.

Would you care if I made a t-shirt for strifemongers through

I think you mean enunciation, dear.

Knotty, I love t-shirts! E-mail me offblog and let me know what you have in mind.

Yewtree, that's the most ironic mistake I've made in ages.

I think it would've been more fun if it had been "Fun with Annunciation."

Oh, and my word verification is "ovarus." You tell ME what that means.

I was just trying to figure out what he was building. No one generally asks me for *advice*, and for good reason:

I actually put it on the group in the photos area.

i imagine that i can get a lot of criticism, er FEEDBACK for the design.

or that others can put them up there. if we knock off the margin on the one shirt so it's just the base price without profits, it just might be very affordable for strifemongers who wish to wear them.

just think of the design on your basic black and let me know what you think.

Awwww, you used the crazy eyes!

You're probably going to get sued by a Welsh cartoon production company, but I totally have a lawyer in my back pocket.

So really, I shouldn't use it, eh?

Lemme think of something else....

@ Red Delicious: yeah, when I saw the title of the post, I had a vision of the Angel Gabriel appearing to Evn with the news that he was going to be the proud parent of the next messiah... and your word verification confirms this, clearly.

@ Evn: yes, it was ironic :)
